An experienced HR Business Partner is required for DIDO 5:2/4:3 with a top-tier mining contractor.

An opportunity exists for an experienced and resilient HR Business Partner to join a site-based operational team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This Drive-In, Drive-Out (DIDO) role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional with strong expertise in employee relations and a passion for driving a supportive, high-performance culture.

Reporting to the HR Superintendent, you will be a trusted partner to site leadership, delivering end-to-end generalist HR support with a strong focus on managing high-volume employee relations matters. You will play a key role in uplifting leadership capability and supporting best practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a high volume of employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinaries, performance management, and dispute resolution
  • Providing clear, practical advice to leaders on ER matters, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes
  • Coaching and developing line management to build capability, confidence, and accountability in people leadership
  • Partnering with site leadership to support a positive cultural reset and improved workforce behaviours
  • Identifying risks and implementing proactive strategies to mitigate potential impacts
  • Supporting broader HR initiatives aligned with operational and business priorities
To be successful in your application, you will have proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a fast-paced, operational environment. You will have strong expertise in employee relations, with the ability to manage complex and high-volume cases. You will be a confident coach, and possess influencing skills with a focus on uplifting leadership capability, whilst maintaining resilience, pragmatism and a solutions-focused approach. You will work closely with both the HR Superintendent and the Perth-based human resources team. Prior DIDO or FIFO experience would be preferred but is not essential. However, exposure to the mining, construction or heavy industrial sectors is required.
