Are you an experienced HR professional ready to take ownership of the full employee lifecycle in a dynamic, high-growth environment? This national logistics company is seeking a dedicated HR Business Partner to support their operations in Adelaide

Reporting directly to the State Manager, you will be instrumental in driving HR best practices and fostering a positive, productive culture across our workforce of approximately 170 employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor and coach to 8 operational Managers, providing guidance on performance management, team development, and complex employee matters.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Manage the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through to performance reviews, talent development, and offboarding.
  • Employee and Industrial Relations (ER/IR):
    • Proactively manage and resolve ER/IR cases and disputes in compliance with relevant legislation and company policy.
    • Liaise effectively with unions and employee representatives.
    • Lead and actively participate in Enterprise Agreement (EA) negotiations and meetings.
  • Workforce Development: Champion capability building through training, coaching, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Compliance & Policy: Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date, compliant, and consistently applied across the business.
What You'll Bring:
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor, ideally within the logistics, transport, or a related industrial sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex Employee and Industrial Relations (ER/IR) issues within heavy industrial organisations.
  • Strong experience in coaching and influencing managers to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Solid understanding of Australian employment law and the Fair Work Act.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, particularly in a unionised environment.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
