Our Client

Our client is in the not-for-profit sector and is located south of the river. They are seeking a talented and driven HR Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.

Your new role

In this role, you will play a crucial role in managing the human resources functions. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Provide organisational strategic leadership and promote a clear vision.
  • Develop and implement an annual Human Resources Plan.
  • Oversee recruitment and workplace health and safety procedures and protocols
  • Oversee and manage industrial relations and employee relations dealing with complex cases.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships.
  • Develop and monitor HR policies and programs, ensuring policies are updated and relevant.
  • Adhere to vision, Code of Conduct, and Work Health and Safety Management System.
  • Ensure culture aligns with its values and benchmark key business success indicators.
  • Responsible for the budget to achieve objectives as set out in the organisation's strategic plan.
What you need to succeed
  • Demonstrated generalist human resource management experience at a senior level
  • Experience in the not-for-profit industry is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience of leading, developing and coaching people.
  • Experience in a health service and/or professional corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated conflict, negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of contemporary management principles and practices.
  • A reliable motor vehicle and motor vehicle licence is a requirement of this position.
What they Offer:

This role is paying a salary of up to $150k + Super. They also offer salary packaging.
