Your New Role
As the Human Resources Manager, you will lead a dedicated HR team to deliver strategic and operational HR services. You'll provide expert advice to senior leadership and staff on complex HR matters, drive workforce planning, and champion organisational change aligned with the strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the HR branch in delivering consultancy services across recruitment, policy, compliance, performance, and workforce planning.
- Develop and implement HR initiatives that support strategic and operational goals.
- Advise senior management on workforce strategies and resolution of workplace issues.
- Manage relationships with unions and liaise with government departments on contentious matters.
- Oversee grievance, discipline, and performance management processes.
- Ensure compliance with public sector legislation and HR standards.
- Represent the institution on internal and external bodies as required.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Have a HR related degree
- Proven experience in leading HR teams and delivering strategic HR services.
- Strong knowledge of public sector HR frameworks, legislation, and industrial instruments.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead organisational change and workforce development.
