Your new role

As the HSEQ Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting frontline teams and ensuring the organisation meets its health, safety, environmental, and quality obligations. Working closely with the HSEQ Manager, you will:

  • Conduct audits, inspections, hazard identification and risk assessments.
  • Facilitate toolbox talks and other HSEQ communications.
  • Assist with incident investigations and corrective action follow ups.
  • Maintain compliance documentation, SDS registers and legislative requirements.
  • Manage inductions, health monitoring schedules, and ergonomic assessments.
  • Oversee contractor compliance and safety documentation.
  • Monitor environmental controls including dust, noise, waste and erosion.
  • Maintain accurate HSEQ records and prepare reports for leadership.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and promote best practice HSEQ standards.

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

Essential

  • A qualification in Work Health & Safety (Certificate IV or higher).
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, ISO standards and Codes of Practice.
  • Experience in HSEQ administration, registers, permits and compliance systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent record keeping skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSEQ software

    Desirable

  • Radiation Safety Officer training or the ability to obtain a licence.
  • Experience in incident investigation and reporting.
  • Understanding of contractor management and permit to work processes.
  • Exposure to internal audits or compliance inspections.
  • Experience within construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
