Your new company
This organisation operates within the resources sector, supporting large-scale operations across multiple sites. With a strong focus on safety, compliance and continuous improvement, they are currently investing in uplift across training frameworks to ensure alignment to national competency standards.
Your new role
As Instructional Designer, you'll be responsible for developing and updating training packages aligned to unit of competency requirements, supporting site-based training delivery and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing training packages aligned to units of competency
- Conducting mapping to ensure compliance against competency requirements
- Working with SMEs to review and update existing training content
- Travelling to site to engage with trainers and assessors
- Managing end to end project coordination, including change processes
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you'll have experience working within or closely alongside an RTO environment. Mining exposure is preferred.
You will also demonstrate:
- Experience developing training packages aligned to units of competency
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across site and corporate teams
- Experience using Articulate (preferred)
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
- TAEASS501 unit of competency
