Your new role
In this standalone HR Generalist role you will be looking after the HR function, and your main responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing pay runs, leave management, superannuation, and payroll tax.
- Preparing monthly resource utilisation reports.
- Administering workcover and managing business and public liability insurance.
- Planning and managing staff wellbeing initiatives and company events, including Christmas parties and office gatherings.
- Being the first point of contact for managers regarding underperformance, awards queries and employee matters.
- Arrange travel requisitions and uniform management.
- Managing the onboarding process, including checklists, compliance, and approvals.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
- Proven experience in HR roles in Australia, preferably in a blue-collar industry.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, ER, and best practices.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Experience managing payroll.
- Exposure to work in a global business reporting to the APAC region.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
