Your new role

Reporting to senior leadership, you will play a pivotal role in aligning people and culture strategies with organisational goals. Leading a small team, you'll deliver high-quality HR services while driving cultural transformation and engagement.

Key areas of responsibility include:
  • Leadership & Team Management - Mentor and develop a high-performing People & Culture team.
  • Culture, Engagement & Wellbeing - Champion initiatives that promote inclusion, psychological safety, and a positive workplace culture.
  • People Operations & Compliance - Oversee HR systems, policies, and ensure compliance with legislation and industry standards.
  • Employee & Industrial Relations - Provide expert advice on complex matters, manage enterprise bargaining, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Workforce Planning & Capability - Lead succession planning and implement training programs to build capability.
  • Reporting & Projects - Deliver executive reports and support strategic projects that drive continuous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' HR experience, including 2+ years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong ability to influence strategic outcomes and build trusted relationships.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Proven capability in managing multiple priorities and driving cultural change.
  • Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a solutions-focused approach.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including experience preparing reports, briefings, and policy documentation.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant employment legislation, industrial instruments, and contemporary HR best practices.
