Your new role

As People & Culture Manager, you will partner closely with senior leadership to provide strategic and operational HR support across the organisation. This position requires balancing organisational priorities with the needs of employees, creating an environment where people thrive.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor the People & Culture team, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
  • Partner with managers and executives to provide expert HR and ER advice, including performance management, employee relations, and organisational change.
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, development, and exit processes.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and strategies aligned with organisational goals and compliance requirements.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance culture, engagement, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and deliver timely reporting.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support a person-centred approach.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Tertiary qualification in HR or significant relevant experience.
  • Experience working in a not-for-profit
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
  • Proven experience managing teams and providing constructive feedback.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage across all levels.
  • High proficiency in HR systems and tools (Employment Hero).
  • Current National Police Clearance.
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and handle sensitive conversations.
  • Possession of smart mobile phone for systems access
