Your new role
-
Managing end-to-end recruitment, from workforce planning and sourcing through to offer management and onboarding.

Building talent pipelines and proactively talent pooling for future projects

Onboarding of new employees and offboarding

Providing HR guidance and support to leaders and employees on policies, procedures, and people-related matters.

Managing performance issues, coaching managers on grievance handling, advising on fairwork and employment legislation when needed

Managing the annual performance reviews and coaching through performance conversations and coaching through performance conversations

Partnering with leaders to drive employee engagement, culture, and workplace initiatives.

Supporting career development, performance review processes, goal setting, and succession planning activities.

Coordinating learning and development programs, training opportunities in line with and professional development initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
-
Significant experience as an HR Manager, People & Culture Manager or HR Generalist who enjoys recruitment and talent management

Experience of working in a smaller, SME style business with a headcount of circa 100 employees
- Experience of working in the Construction sector or aligned industry

Strong ER knowledge of employment legislation, awards and performance management issues

A passion for recruitment and someone who enjoys finding the best talent as this will be a key part of the role

Experience of working with construction and project management stakeholders

Experience using HRIS platforms and managing HR reporting and insights

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.

Knowledge of WHS and compliance
