Based at the Sydney CBD Head Office, this is a true business partnering opportunity, playing a key part in the delivery of operational and strategic people projects for a workforce of 200 + employees. Your new role
As the People & Culture Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, delivering practical and commercially focused HR advice and services to drive engagement and performance. Key responsibilities will include:

Business partnering and coaching all levels of the business and the leadership on a daily basis, building relationships and providing advice and counsel

Employee relations, including case management and workplace investigations when needed

Providing HR advice and support on Fairwork, employment legislation, modern award interpretation and PIPs

Leadership coaching

Employee engagement and wellbeing program delivery

Supporting with WHS, RTW administration

Delivery of diversity and inclusion initiatives

Recruitment and onboarding activities as and when needed

Talent management, succession planning and ensuring talent development plans are in place

Partnering with the ELT in the delivery of people-related programs supporting change and transformation
What you'll need to succeed
-
A minimum two years as an HR Business Partner within a small to medium-sized business
-
Strong knowledge of employee relations with experience of managing workplace investigations and performance-related conversations

Excellent employment legislation and HR policy knowledge

Passion for recruitment and talent management as this will be part of the wider HR role

Proven ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation

Excellent coaching, influencing and communication skills
-
Strong expertise in Fair Work legislation, employment law and HR best practice

You must have experience of the delivery and execution of people projects and coaching a business through change and transformation.

Knowledge of the construction or property sector would be beneficial but not essential

Thrive working in small teams and enjoy being at the coalface of the business

Salary range from 110 - 130K base + super + bonus depending on experience
