Position Title: HR Business Partner

Company Overview:
Our client is a fast-paced Financial Services SME who are quickly increasing their market share. They are experiencing rapid headcount growth and seek to expand their HR capabilities.
Role Overview:
The HR Business Partner will support the business's growth by handling generalist HR responsibilities, with a primary focus on recruitment. The role will assist the HR Manager in areas such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and overall HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:

HR Generalist Support:
-
Provide generalist HR support to business units, including performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.

Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR initiatives that align with business goals and objectives.

Support and coach line managers in HR practices, ensuring compliance with relevant HR policies and procedures.

Recruitment:

Manage end-to-end recruitment for key sales and operations roles, particularly during the bi-annual recruitment intakes in January/February and July/August.

Handle approximately 10-15 vacancies per intake, managing bulk recruitment campaigns efficiently and effectively.

Work with hiring managers to identify talent needs and ensure a seamless recruitment process, from advertising through to onboarding.

HR Project Work:

Lead or participate in various HR projects, including but not limited to talent development, process improvement, and employee engagement initiatives.

Assist with the design and delivery of training programs, particularly around employee relations and performance management.

Employee Relations:

Manage employee relations cases, providing guidance on policies and conflict resolution.

Ensure compliance with company policies and Australian employment laws.

Performance Management:

Assist in implementing and managing performance management processes, including performance reviews and feedback systems.

Support managers in addressing performance issues and development plans for staff.

Other HR Functions:

Handle day-to-day HR tasks such as employee inquiries, data management, and reporting.

Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Support the HR Manager in strategic workforce planning and other HR initiatives.

Candidate Specification:
-

Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally with a focus on recruitment and project work.

Experience managing bulk recruitment campaigns is highly desirable.

A background in HR roles within fast-paced, growing companies is beneficial.

Experience with employee relations and performance management is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

A team player with an adaptable and flexible approach to their work, capable of managing multiple HR responsibilities simultaneously.

Working Environment:

Office-based in Sydney CBD with the flexibility of one remote workday per week.

The role will involve interacting with various stakeholders across the business, working closely with the HR Manager, and supporting other teams in achieving HR objectives.
Salary and Benefits:

Salary range of $110,000 - $120,000 plus superannuation.

10% annual performance bonus.

Flexible working conditions with 4 days in-office and 1 day remote.
