We are partnered with a State Government Department, in Brisbane to recruit a Recruitment and Engagement Officer on a temporary basis.

Your new role

In this temporary assignment, some of your responsibilities will include:
  • Support the delivery of inclusive, transparent, and innovative recruitment processes aligned with diversity goals.
  • Provide expert advice on recruitment legislation, policy, and procedures to selection panels.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, representing the organisation's careers positively.
  • Enhance the candidate experience through proactive care and promotion of the organisation as an employer of choice.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for a diverse workforce, across blue- and white-collar roles.
  • Handle HR data administration, conduct analysis, and prepare reporting as required.
  • Maintain integrity and confidentiality of HR systems and candidate records.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities including induction events and training record management.
  • Collaborate with team members, manage priorities, and meet high-volume recruitment deadlines.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role you will have previous experience in recruitment and engagement, and the ability to work as part of a team to support high-volume recruiting. You will have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and teams; experience with Springboard is highly desirable. Additionally, you will possess the ability to be flexible in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
