Your new role

In this temporary assignment, your responsibilities will include:
  • Offer tailored recruitment support, develop effective procedures aligned with performance goals, and maintain precise, accessible records.
  • Provide comprehensive recruitment advice, service and support which meets the needs of managers and supervisors, and new and existing employees.
  • Lead and model positive Workplace Health and Safety compliance.
  • Foster an outcomes-focused and value-adding culture where leaders and staff take personal accountability for delivering on the organisation's corporate plan and policies.
  • Ensure business continuity during disruptions by following directions.
  • Deliver comprehensive end-to-end recruitment services, advice, and education, including recommendation of appropriate recruitment approaches to the organisation.
  • Propose improvements to recruitment processes and strategies.
  • Administer recruitment and people services activities accurately and promptly.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships while handling sensitive matters.
  • Prepare various forms of employee-related correspondence that require a high level of judgement to determine an appropriate course of action, with regular modifications to the way work is performed.
  • Contribute to the data integrity of the HRIS through timely and accurate processing and storage of information.
  • Exercise judgement and initiative in actioning and resolving challenges with recruitment and people services related requests.

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you should have:
  • Strong experience in internal recruitment within a large multidisciplinary organisation.
  • Sound knowledge of applicable legislations relating to recruitment processes and of the basic provisions of industrial awards, certified agreements and employment legislation.
  • Proven ability to foster a positive safety culture through visible leadership, diligence, and compliance with Health Safety Management Systems and legislative requirements.
  • Proven ability in building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • High levels of skills in written and oral communication with clients and other members of the public.
  • High level of problem-solving, time management, and organisational skills.
  • High level of computer literacy skills, including HRIS systems and Microsoft products.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously within a team environment.
  • Certificate IV in Human resources or equivalent experience.
  • Current Queensland "C" class driver's license.
