The Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) provides essential corporate functions to the Northern Territory Government (NTG) under a centralised service model, enabling agencies to focus on their core business. Workforce Management is one of the key enterprise services providing support across a range of areas including Employee Relations, Performance and Conduct, Recruitment, Injury Management and General HR Support.

Currently the Workforce Management team is recruiting experienced Human Resource professionals to be appointed at either the Administrative Officer 6 (AO6) or Administrative Officer 7 (AO7) level. Applications will be assessed against both levels and offers of employment will be made based on relevant experience and qualifications.

As a Senior Officer Workforce Management (AO6) your primary objective is to provide high-level advice and support on workforce management matters and assist client agencies with the management of their Human Resources. You will also undertake case management workloads and recommend appropriate courses of action for resolution and early intervention. In addition, your highly developed communication, negotiating and conflict resolution skills along with your ability to interpret and apply legislation will contribute to your success.

As a Manager Workforce Management (AO7) you will provide high level advice on complex workplace issues, undertake analysis of people matters and HR data, and collaborate in the development of contemporary HRM strategies, policies and procedures. To be successful at the AO7 level, you require extensive experience undertaking complex HR case management, early intervention and the ability to interpret and apply legislation.
