Your new role
As a key member of the team, the responsibilities and duties of this role will include, but not be limited to:

- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and facilitate resourcing meetings.
- Review regional resourcing with stakeholders and implement workforce planning.
- Create position descriptions and determine role requirements with hiring managers.
- Develop sourcing strategies to build talent pools.
- Write job ads and promotional materials.
- Source applicants through online channels and professional networks.
- Approach passive candidates for opportunities.
- Source international candidates and manage visa sponsorship.
- Evaluate candidate information (CVs, cover letters, portfolios).
- Understand employee relations legislation and best practices.
- Coach hiring managers on recruitment activities and the full recruitment process.
What you will need to be successful
- Experienced in Talent Acquisition within civil engineering, construction, utilities, or heavy industry. (preferred)
- Strong understanding of internal mobility in construction and logistics of interstate project transfers.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to build lasting relationships.
- Proficient with online recruitment platforms (e.g. PageUp) and employee relations legislation.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Current driver's license and own transport for visiting project sites.
