Your new company
Based in Melbourne's CBD, this government agency is seeking a Team Leader, Talent Acquisition to play a pivotal role leading strategic and operational talent acquisition. The successful candidate will lead and uplift end-to-end recruitment and onboarding services within a complex environment, influence workforce capability at scale, whilst leading a small team.
Your new role
- Leading end-to-end recruitment and onboarding services across the organisation
- Providing people leadership and guidance to a team of Talent Acquisition Advisors
- Partnering with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to deliver timely, compliant recruitment outcomes
- Driving improvements to recruitment systems, processes, and workforce data reporting
- Supporting workforce planning activities aligned to organisational priorities
- Ensuring recruitment practices align with frameworks, legislation and policies
- Using data and insights to improve service delivery, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience leading a shared services/advisory recruitment or talent acquisition function, including coaching and cultivating high performance
- Established experience leading best practice recruitment and onboarding services
- Proven track-record delivering operational and strategic business-as-usual and campaign-based recruitment
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and hiring managers
- Experience improving recruitment systems, methodologies and policies
