Your new role
In this temporary assignment, your responsibilities will include:
- Liaise with key stakeholders to understand resourcing needs.
- Develop new, and update existing, role descriptions.
- Apply HR policies and frameworks in achieving business outcomes.
- Prepare HR related correspondence, briefs, reports, and resource requests to a high standard.
- Support the Principal HR Advisor as required to build and mature HR service delivery across the branch.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Recent Queensland Government Experience
- Ability to work independently and confident in operating across a dynamic project-driven portfolio.
- Knowledge of contemporary HR practices, relevant legislation, industrial agreements, policies, and procedures, and ensures client group practices align with these standards.
- Ability to show sound judgement by applying critical thinking and analysis to draw accurate conclusions based on evidence while adhering to government policies.
- Ability to manage work projects and achieve results.
- Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
