Your new role
In this role, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Providing advice to senior management on workforce relations issues.
- Manage complex investigations, advisory and assurance activities and develop strategies to resolve problems and manage wellbeing, health, and safety risk.
- Influencing and gaining agreement from multiple stakeholders with differing priorities or opinions on workforce relations matters.
- Support negotiation, development, and implementation of enterprise bargaining agreements for all employee groups, including engagement with relevant unions/ employee representatives, under the direction of the HR manager.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Strong IR & ER background.
- Experience working with legislative and policy frameworks.
- Expertise in public sector industrial relations, enterprise bargaining, and workplace relations advisory.
- Previous experience engaging with unions and stakeholders.
- Effective project and time management skills.
- Clear understanding of coordinating workplace investigations and ability to develop rapport with stakeholders involved.
- Ability to ensure confidentiality, compliance, and professionalism when managing sensitive information.
