Your new company
A federal government agency strengthening workforce integrity across the employment lifecycle. The team supports protective security, APS integrity requirements and personnel security functions at a national level.
Your new role
You will lead the development and delivery of employment suitability frameworks and provide high‑level advice on workforce integrity risks. Key tasks include:
- Designing suitability and personnel security frameworks.
- Assessing complex workforce matters using structured suitability principles.
- Guiding pre‑employment screening processes aligned to role risk.
- Supporting ongoing suitability monitoring and review triggers.
- Advising on role risk, governance and suitability expectations.
- Refreshing policies, procedures and guidance material.
- Partnering with Cyber, Fraud, Legal, Audit and Risk teams.
- Leading workstreams and mentoring staff in integrity‑related functions.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience applying PSPF requirements across recruitment and workforce processes.
- Background in vetting, suitability assessment or personnel security.
- Skill reviewing personal information and forming sound suitability judgements.
- Experience applying structured frameworks or risk criteria.
- Strong written analysis skills, including assessments and briefings.
- Discretion when handling sensitive information.
