Your new role

This role is working across the organisation, to provide sensible, compliant, and highly competent human resources services. This role reports to the Group Compliance and Risk Manager and is a hands-on role responsible for servicing the HR needs of the organisation. In this role your responsibilities will include:
  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment and selection processes to attract the right candidates for our roles.
  • Lead learning and development across the organisation by delivering and facilitating training and development programs.
  • Manage the performance review processes including reporting, intervention, and timeliness of the process.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian employment laws and regulations.
  • Complete human resources compliance-based reports for WGEA, government departments and the organisation.
  • Manage policies and procedures as they relate to human resources.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team.

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you should have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Experience in managing and developing a high-performing HR team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Current Driver's License
