This community focused organisation has operations across Queensland and are dedicated to innovation, change and customer-focused solutions. Based in Maroochydoore, they have a newly created role to join them as an HR Business Partner, initially until June 2025.

Your new role

Working as part of a flexible, collaborative and supportive HR Team, as a HR BP you will be responsible for partnering with business leaders and HR leaders to deliver strategic people organisational initiatives, apply insights and coach through the evolving business requirements. This will include both business as usual operational work in addition to working on a number of projects. Your role will include:

  • Providing support and guidance to leaders across the employee lifecycle, including role specifications, best practice onboarding and coaching & development.
  • Contribute to the drafting and development of HR frameworks, tools, position descriptions and solutions
  • Case management of employee relations matters, performance management and complex investigations
  • Deliver strategies to enhance a values-driven environment and attract, engage and retain skilled employees
  • Support with development of training materials as needed
  • Provides subject matter advice and training to developing leaders and managers on people systems and processes
  • Manage and assist with HR projects and sponsor P&C people change initiatives across the organisation.


What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced HR professional with a high level of demonstrated expertise in strategic partnering, stakeholder management and implementing HR initiatives and programs. You will be confident to provide coaching and advice to leaders, have strong generalist HR knowledge including experience managing performance, and will have a solid understanding of end-to-end core HR processes. You will need to provide consent to obtain a valid national coordinated criminal history check and a valid driving licence.

This is a unique opportunity to join an experienced, welcoming HR team on the Sunshine Coast, and undertake a flexible role 4 days per week. The organisation offers hybrid working and will offer a competitive salary of 125k pro-rata (take home 100K for 4 days), plus superannuation and opportunity to salary package. The role is initially a fixed term contract till June 2025, but there may be scope for it to extend.
