Our client is a successful fashion retail group in Melbourne’s inner eastern suburbs offering a range of clothing brands across Australia & New Zealand. They are seeking a dynamic, hands-on, standalone HR Manager to join their passionate team.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead employment relations functions across the business including performance reviews, grievance handling, disciplinary matters and performance development
• Manage recruitment, induction and onboarding processes for a permanent and casual workforce
• Provide advisory on HR legislative requirements
• Manage HR administration, policies and procedures and salary reviews
• Develop learning & development and company culture initiatives

Key competencies include:

• Min 5 years generalist HR experience ideally in a similar fashion design or retail environment
• Strong experience and ability to successfully manage ER functions
• Strong interpersonal skills and people instincts with ability build rapport across a creative workforce
• High level of organisational skills and self-direction
• Tertiary qualifications in HR
• Ability to work full time onsite in Melbourne’s inner east
