HR BP in Noosa on contract from 16 Feb to 15 May, 38 hours a week, supporting leaders and workforce projects
Your new company
You will join a local government organisation responsible for delivering community services, infrastructure and workforce programs across the Noosa region. The People and Culture team supports leaders and staff across a diverse workforce and plays a central role in improving organisational capability, culture and service delivery.
Your new role
You will work as a HR Business Partner supporting leaders and employees across the full employee life cycle. You will provide advice across industrial and employee relations, workforce planning, organisational development, change, performance, job design and wellbeing. You will lead investigations, coach leaders, guide recruitment processes and support organisational projects that build capability and improve people management practices.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong generalist HR experience in a complex organisation
- Deep knowledge of employment legislation, industrial instruments and contemporary people practices
- Strength in coaching, conflict resolution and relationship management
- Experience guiding leaders through change, investigations, disciplinary matters and performance
- High level analytical, problem‑solving and project management skills
- Ability to plan and prioritise work to meet deadlines across multiple tasks
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field
- A current C class licence
