AO6 Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Three-month contract)

As the Senior HR Business Partner, you will deliver innovative and responsive HR solutions, supporting organisational goals during a period of digital transformation. This role is crucial in developing a flexible, capable, and engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide HR advice on workforce planning, recruitment, policy interpretation, employee relations, change management, and learning and development.

Collaborate with P&C teams for seamless service delivery and involve specialist HR advisors for complex issues.

Build strong client relationships to understand business needs and champion process improvements.
- Contribute to a healthy, engaged workforce.
You will have

Experience in HR consultancy, employee relations, workforce planning, and performance development.

Knowledge of public sector legislation, policies, and agreements.

Ability to prepare expert advice for tribunals and commissions.
- Proficiency in workplace health, safety, and rehabilitation practices
AO7 Senior Employee Relations Advisor (Six Month Contract)

As the Senior Employees Relations Advisor, you will provide expert advice and support on industrial relations legislation, policies, and procedures. This role is essential in developing a collaborative and constructive relationship with internal and external stakeholders, including unions.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Advise and support HR/payroll teams, senior leaders, and managers on industrial relations legislation, awards, agreements, and compliance requirements.

Act as a key advisor on public sector employment relations legislation, including the Industrial Relations Act 2016 (QLD) and the Public Sector Act 2022.
-
Assist in developing and implementing employee relations and industrial strategies.
-
Manage the interface with unions, facilitating a collaborative approach to employee and industrial relations.
-
Educate and coach leaders and HR teams on employee relations matters and policy implementation.
-
Prepare and present high-level discussion papers and briefs on complex employment relations issues.
-
Resolve industrial disputes and undertake high-level negotiations.
-
Manage case investigations and resolutions for employee grievances and complaints.

Represent the organisation in industrial relations matters at tribunals and commissions.
You will have:
-
Experience in applying industrial relations legislation and representing organisations in consultation and negotiation processes.

Proven ability to develop and improve industrial and employee relations policies.

Skilled in acting as an industrial advocate in tribunals and other forums.
-
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
-
Experience in delivering high-level industrial relations advice and building capacity within HR teams.
-
Ability to build and sustain productive relationships with stakeholders and unions.
-
Experience in case management and resolution of workplace issues.
-
Tertiary qualifications in industrial relations, human resources, law, business, or public policy.
